A Grand Prize Award winner at the International Cannes Film Festival and a heartwarming film, "Marcelino Pan Y Vino," is about a little orphan boy who causes a miracle. Left on the doorstep of a monastery as an infant, Marcelino was raised by the Monks. He was well cared for but lonely and missed having a mother. One day he found a special friend in the forbidden attic… hanging on a cross. A friend that would repay Marcelino's kindness by granting him one heart-felt wish.
The film is sweeping in its cinematography and story-telling from the time the young baby is found by the monks to the end of the film, which features Marcelino's unique exit. This is an enjoyable watch with some fun-filled moments which include Marcelino's little pranks, such as leaving a little boat in the holy water. We are pleased to award this film our Dove "Family-Approved" Seal for all ages. See this one soon and get ready for a miracle!! Reviewer: Edwin L. Carpenter - The Dove Foundation.
